As a member of Origin Green, Glenhaven is committed to sustainable production and consumption, ensuring the company plays its role in being environmentally responsible. This is achieved through continuous improvement and by continuing to recycle where possible. Targets are in place for reducing water consumption, improving water efficiency and increasing recyclable packaging. Glenhaven has a goal to reduce waste to landfill by 25% year one, 50% year two and 75% year three. Under our Corporate Social Responsibility plan Glenhaven continues to engage with, and help raise funds for, the Wicklow Hospice.
Quality Assurance Systems at Glenhaven Foods extend through all areas of our business to ensure best practices and procedures are followed and maintained. Within our production facility, trained technicians continuously monitor and record process and product data.
