Baked Chicken Kiev, served with crushed Baby Potatoes and instant Mushy Peas

Chicken Kiev is one of those comfort foods that has always been popular in Irish households. But what to serve with your Chicken Kiev? Why not pair our tasty Glenhaven Garlic & Herb Kiev with spuds and peas, with a twist, for an easy family dinner!

1Heat your oven as per the instructions on the Glenhaven pack, remembering that ovens may vary slightly.
2Place your Glenhaven Chicken Kievs into the oven and bake as per the pack instructions.
3Cook the potatoes in boiling water for about 15 minutes.
4In a second pot, cook the frozen peas for about 5 minutes until tender.
5Drain your peas and place in a bowl, with the cream, butter. Use a blender to mix them into a smooth paste. Add salt and pepper to taste.
6Drain your potatoes and place them in a bowl. Using a fork, crush the potatoes with the olive oil until broken up, but not mashed. Stir through the spring onions and the parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
7Serve one Kiev per person along with the crushed potatoes and peas immediately.
