Spicy Chicken Pasta Bake with Cheesy Crumb

Our take on this chicken pasta recipe has a little kick of chilli because of the addition of some scrumptious Glenhaven Hot & Spicy Goujons! It’s a really easy meal, perfect for a quick family dinner.

1 Genhaven Foods Hot & Spicy Goujons - 360g pack.
1Heat your oven as per the instructions on the Glenhaven pack, remembering that ovens may vary slightly.
2Place your Glenhaven Chicken Goujons into the oven and bake as per the pack instructions. Once cooked let cool for 10 minutes and then cut each goujon into bite size chunks.
3Heat the oil in a large pan over a medium heat and then add the onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until soft.
4Stir in the chopped tomatoes, water, tomato purée, sugar and basil. Season with salt and pepper and simmer gently, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes until the mixture reduces a little. Add in your chunks of chicken to the sauce.
5In another pan, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the pack and once cooked, add it to the tomato sauce. Pour the mixture into an ovenproof dish.
6In a bowl, mix the cheese and breadcrumbs together. Sprinkle the mixture over the pasta mix.
7Place back into the oven for about 10 minutes, until the cheese and breadcrumbs are golden and the sauce is bubbling at the sides.
