Classic Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti & Italian Tomato Sauce.

Take all the hard work out of preparing the classic Chicken Parmesan! Our version of this delicious Italian recipe, using Glenhaven breaded chicken fillets, cuts out all the preparation of the chicken for you! Enjoy it served in a tomato marinara sauce, with spaghetti. A delicious family chicken dinner recipe!

For the Tomato Sauce
1Make the tomato sauce first. Place the olive oil in a large frying pan, at a medium heat. When hot, add the onion fry for 5 minutes until soft, before adding the garlic, chilli and oregano to cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
2Add the tinned tomatoes and bring the mixture to a simmer before reducing the heat. Allow to cook for about 30 minutes or until the mixture has reduced by half.
3Blend the sauce until smooth and set it aside.
4Heat your oven as per the instructions on the Glenhaven pack, remembering that ovens may vary slightly.
5In an oven proof dish, place the 4 Glenhaven Breaded Chicken Fillets. Cover them with the tomato sauce, and sprinkle the top with the parmesan cheese.
6Cover with a lid or tin foil and bake in the oven for approximately 25 minutes until cooked through.
7While that’s in the oven, cook your spaghetti as per the instructions on the pack.
8Serve immediately once the chicken parmesan is cooked.
